Walk to Sri Lanka’s Highest Waterfall Bambarakanda

Bambarakanda Waterfall is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is situated in the hill town of Kalupahana near Haldumulla on the southeastern slopes of the central hills. The area around Bambarakanda is rich with scenic beauty, rugged terrain, waterfalls, and tea fields.

After breakfast, I will take you for a walk to Bambarakanda via a path on the mountain with panoramic views of the tea plantations and rural villages. On the way, we will pass a smaller waterfall in the forest, where we will swim and have a picnic.

If you want to stay overnight, there are many places to stay in Haputale.
