Street Food Heritage Walk with Pauline

Description

During this Kuala Lumpur Food Tour, I will take you to places enriched with deep tradition and heritage, especially around Petaling Street. The site where most say is the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur.

We will let you try different local delights such as the national favorite Char Kuew Teow (stir-fried rice noodles), Yong Tau Fu (vegetables with freshly stuffed fish paste), local seasonal fruits, pastries, and more. Another very special place we will visit on this food tour is a traditional coffee shop, one of the last few authentic ones left in Kuala Lumpur. At this coffee shop, you can try the freshly brewed Liberica bean coffee and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a Malaysian wet market where there is so much to see, from the unique local vegetables to various seafood and poultry selections.

I will also teach you all about our customs and how we use them in different Malaysian dishes. You will also learn how to use Traditional Chinese Medicine and its herbal properties while sampling some herbal teas to finish our locally-curated Kuala Lumpur food tour experience!
