De walk was really nice!! Very interesting and our guide knew a lot. I really like it that I am supporting a good cause at the same time. As two female travelers, we didn't feel comfortable walking by ourselves, but together with our guide, we felt safe and secure. Can definitely recommend it!

I did the history tour the other morning as well as the Mathare slum walk that same afternoon. Both walks were informative and fun and helped orient me in Nairobi as I'd just arrived. Possibly the best part of each walk was the local guide who was open to frank questions about life in Nairobi and Kenya. The walks were expensive compared to "free" walking tours elsewhere but the money goes to worthwhile local causes so that's fine. Happy to recommend it.

I had a great tour with my guide around Nairobi. He knew a lot about the history, the political situation and the communities and he could give me an answer to nearly all my questions. A great opportunity for all people that don´t have lots of time to stay there for longer but want to get a brief and educational insight into nairobi´s and kenya´s history and political situation. Thank you so much for that!

Absolutely loved it, a fantastic experience which I think needs to be a "must" for any visitor to Nairobi - or people like us who live in Nairobi but rarely head downtown!

A colorful cultural and captivating stroll through the city of cool waters. I really felt as if this tour was beneficial, not only to tourists but local residents and citizens of Kenya too. Duncan was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and a great ambassador for Kenya. I had a wonderful time and feel, somehow, more connected to the roots of this crazy, chaotic urban African hive of ours! One of the thrills; dodging a bus One of the chills; a library in total ruin and throbbing with potential (and ghosts) One of the frills; the most spectacular views at the top of....!? Can't remember the buildings name? Thank you so much, Jess

We went on a CBD city trip in Nairobi. Our guide was Augustine. He told us a lot about the history of the city and the buildings. Glad we saw the city-market as well. It's a cool experience!

We met with Augustin on our first day in Nairobi. What we expected was a tour of the city's highlights-what we got was a glimpse into the city's history and cultural context through the eyes of a happy-go-lucky and informative host. It was a great day out and a great introduction to Nairobi! Thanks!

We had such a wonderful time with Augustine who shared a very interesting story about Nairobi's city center, the Kenyan culture. The viewpoint also provided us with a magnificent sight of Nairobi

About Me

We are a small grassroots NGO and aim to provide education and support for street children from the Mathare slum in Nairobi. This tour helps us to fund the school fees. All our tour guides are former beneficiaries of the project. They have been trained as tour guides in collaboration with the National Museum of Kenya. Through the tour's income, our guides can finance their studies or start their own business. All proceeds from the tours go to the guides and to support street children.
