I recently moved to this peaceful house surrounded by greenery. I grow my own vegetables and love the quietness of this place. I would warmly invite you to my home.
I have three double bedrooms with attached bathrooms, all provided with mosquito nets and soap. I can serve you a typical Kenyan breakfast or any breakfast to your liking. I can provide lunch and dinner if you wish at an extra cost. I love to cook and show you our family recipes.
The surroundings are beautiful. You can visit Tsavo National Park or the Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can see elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and many more.
Also, a lovely and hidden gem is the mountain of Wundanyi. The landscape is totally different and so stunning. You can also find the Kenyatta caves where Mzee Jomo Kenyatta stayed as one of the freedom fighters for years. Charles Mlekenyi was a child back then and was serving Kenyatta and the others their meals. He has a wonderful story to tell and can show you many things that still remind us of that time.
Recently I stayed a night at Grace's lovely house, just 20 minutes from Voi. She had just moved in there 2 weeks before and was warmly welcoming me into her home. She prepared a lovely typical dinner from this region called Kimanga. The rooms are lovely, clean, with a double bed and mosquito net. She also grows her own vegetables and the neighborhood is very quiet. I had a great time chatting with her and a perfect night's sleep. Thanks, Grace!
