Kenya Bush Expedition with Sankale

Description

Welcome to our camp at the foot of the Loita Hills in Kenya.

We will start our tour early today, guided by Maasai warriors as we walk through the Loita Hills. Along the way, you'll pass manyatta's (traditional Maasai villages), shepherds with herds of goats and cows, but you can also encounter zebras, antelopes, wildebeest, and other wildlife. The Maasai have been living in harmony with nature for centuries and like to share their bush craft skills and knowledge of edible and medicinal plants.

We will camp at a beautiful spot where we can prepare our food on a crackling campfire. In the evening, the Maasai tribesmen can tell you everything about the ancient customs and rituals that are still part of their deep-rooted culture today.

The following day, we will walk back to the camp. After lunch, we will arrive at the camp, where our Maasai guides and warriors will say goodbye and wish us a happy journey.

Reviews

It was the first Africa experience for us and I don't think it could have been better. Being taken into the life of the Maasai, in an authentic way, without frills, something we were allowed to experience during the bush expedition. Sankale understands how to connect the essence of a country with the curiosity and interest of the traveler. An absolute must! So thank you, Manon, Sankale, and the fantastic people around you.

About Me

Hi, I am Sankale, son of the Paramount Chief Lerionka Ole Ntutu and proud to be a Maasai tribesman. Apart from being the Community Chief in Maji Moto, I am a naturalist and passionate nature guide in Kenya. I have excellent knowledge about wildlife, edible and medicinal plants, and bushcraft skills, which I would love to share with you. Together with my team, I would like to welcome you to my camp located on the base of the beautiful Loita Hills. We will give you an authentic cultural experience and take you on an unforgettable journey back to nature.
