Description
During this Kuala Lumpur Food Tour, I will show you the key to Malaysia's best cuisines, such as Malay, Chinese, and Indian as we visit the off-the-beaten-track spots that only the locals know of.
One of the most amazing places we'll visit on this food tour is the Chow Kit Market, which is one of the largest and most impressive wet markets in Kuala Lumpur, where you'll smell a captivating melody of Chinese and Malay ingredients. You will get to try Satay, Murtabak, Laksa, Chili Pan Mee (Chinese noodles), Teh Tarik, Cucur Udang (Prawn Fritters), Local fruits, and many more. During the food tour, you can also witness trade smith in action such as Celup Emas (gold plating), Rattan, bamboo repairs, and products. Besides the lovely food you get to taste and the local people's daily lives, we will also tell you something about the historic buildings in this area.

About Me
Hi, my name is Pauline and I am born and bred in Kuala Lumpur. I am very proud of the culinary diversity Malaysia has to offer. I believe in the importance of savoring family recipes passed down from one generation to another. Therefore, I always try to include family restaurants and food stalls dating back decades ago in my food tours. The abundance of food variety in Malaysia stems from the diverse ethnic population of Malays, Chinese, Indian, Eurasian, and Nyonya (Peranakan), so you can imagine what a food Walhalla this place is. I'm doing this with a few foodie friends. Come on and join us!
