Description

We warmly welcome you to our friendly Kathmandu homestay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Langol, just 10km outside Kathmandu.

We grow our own food organically, and if we don’t produce it ourselves, we buy it in our village and cook it fresh for you every meal. My specialty is the traditional Newari dish of Dhall Bhat. Some even say it is the best they have had in Nepal.

The rooms we provide in our homestay have all modern facilities like a western bathroom, comfortable bed, and free WiFi. We offer you have the chance to experience Nepali family life.

We will try to make you as home as possible and welcome you with open arms!

We had a great stay at Babu's place. The village is really authentic and you can get a good taste of typical village life in Nepal. Babu is a great host. So is his family. His house is very beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable as well. If you want to experience authentic Nepal in a really quiet and cozy environment, don't hesitate to stay for a couple of days.

I love this place. I have stayed here three times, and can’t tell you how friendly welcoming they are, provide wonderful service, clean comfortable rooms, and great food. Belku serves as much food as you can eat. Although this might not be the cheapest accommodation you can find at first sight, with all the extra free service they provide it is not expensive at all. Definitely can recommend this wonderful place!

We stayed for more than a week at Babu's homestay and we really felt like part of the family. We were there during festival time and participated in their family ceremonies. We were even invited to Babu's parent's house. It was such a wonderful experience. When in Kathmandu this is an experience you shouldn't miss!
