Our Eco-community Camp allows you to stretch your legs with scenic walks, paddle a canoe or look out for eight species of forest primates. It is patched on the side of the cliff to the famous Kamweru crater, one of the twin lakes in Bunyaruguru area.
Admire spectacular panoramic views and enjoy the sound of crested cranes and sea eagles. Our camp is uniquely positioned in between twin crater lakes on a dirt road 2km after Nyakasharu trading centre on the road between Queen Elizabeth National Park and Mbarara.
We offer accommodation in self-contained bandas and a non self-contained dorm. The restaurant is raised above the lake where you can relax as you enjoy the views over the crater. Our chef can fix you a delicious meal with ingredients that are organically grown in our garden.
Our camp is 100% locally owned which enables employment and income for our local community.
