We had such a great experience! Bridget was particularly warm, caring and so hospitable. The naming ceremony and the dancing and drumming our third evening were so special and meaningful; we loved the family traditions. The traditional food was appreciated while we thought the family compound was beautiful, peaceful and relaxed. I was recuperating from a stomach problem and Bridget called the doctor for me. She welcomed too with lemongrass tea which was such a considerate and loving gesture. Tinka and his family hold a special place in our hearts forever!
My friend at I stayed at Tinka’s three nights in November 2018 as part of a larger trip traveling independently around Uganda. Our stay at Tinka’s was absolutely brilliant :-) We couldn’t have asked for any more. Tinka and his family were excellent, warm and welcoming hosts. They cooked us delightful, local meals and were very accommodating to us in their lovely house. They talked us through a lot of their culture and traditions, and on our final night they treated us to some traditional dancing as part of our Tooro naming ceremony! I would highly recommend staying there to anyone in the future and we recommended it to other people we met elsewhere on our trip
