Meet Suwannee

Member since: June 2014

Hello, my name is Suwannee and I was born in Chiang Rai, the north of Thailand. I lived on the edge of the town and was always interested in the growing of rice, vegetables and how food was prepared. I actually own a rice field next to my home. At home my grandmother was always busy in the kitchen and I was always by her side.

I decided to explore the world after my studies. I lived in the UK, Paris and Netherlands for a while. As I love traveling I have been to many places all over the world.

In August 2007 I returned to Chiang Rai and opened my own cooking class, the first in this Northern Thai town.
