When in Sri Lanka, it is a must to see a tea plantation as it is the home of world renowned Ceylon Tea. During this hike you can experience what it is like to be in the middle of a tea plantation, enjoy a walk around the stepped tea valley, watch the tea- pluckers at work, discover beautiful gardens and the smiles of the gentle folk of the hills. I can show you the places I like the most.

The tea trail is a walk of about four to five hours. The walk starts from Bandarawela and will end in Haputale.

If you want to stay overnight, there are many places to stay in Haputale.
