Hike the ghorepani poon hill with its magnificent views

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is a relatively easy and very popular trek that winds through picturesque rural ethnic hamlets and forests of rhododendron and bamboo. Poon hill (3200 m) is the highest point of the trek where you will have a magnificent view on the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Ghandruk is another attraction of this trek where visitors can appreciate the lifestyle of village people, particularly the Gurungs and their culture.

During the trek you will stay at comfortable guesthouses with private bedroom and a hot shower.

My name is Meghanad Timalsina, but my father gave me the nick name Thakur. I am born and raised in Nepal. I love the splendid mountains and nature of the Himalayas. That’s why I started working as a porter and during that time I have trekked almost all tourist destination in Nepal. Since 1997 I am a licensed trekking guide. I would love to share my experience with you and show you my magnificent country!
