If you are interested in including this experience into a complete itinerary through Kenya, off the beaten track, and customized to your needs then you can take this quick quiz. You will then receive a custom-built itinerary in your inbox and pick what you like.
I will take you on a journey through the bustling city of Mombasa and explore the city via its little alleys. We will visit the local food market where I will tell you about the different vegetables, fruits and spices and how we use them. You can see various local stalls where they sell furniture, jewelry, pottery and more.
On the way we will sample local snacks and refreshments and taste the best sugarcane juice in town. We will also visit the lighthouse with a tuktuk, enjoy the breeze and seeing the ships passing by while enjoying roasted corn with chili, lemon and coconut.
Then it is time to experience one of Kenya’s main modes of transportation, the matatu. We will take a matatu to taste the best apple strudel ever. Everyone I have taken to have this delicacy said this is the best one they have ever had. We can finish of our day by taking a tour around the suburbs, a walk at the beach or trying out some famous Kenyan barbeque foods.
All the above we can change according to your preferences. I always have a chat before the tour to understand what you like so that I can provide you with the best experience.
