Each, grass thatched tented banda of our camp, has its own unique view on the crater. The banda’s are all equipped with comfortable beds, a pleasant verandah or private terrace.
Oil lamps set a romantic mood in our rustic restaurant. Our dishes are served with care and consist of fresh home cooked western and Swahili influenced food. Every morning we serve you home made bread from our small bakery, eggs to your taste, beans, bacon and fresh brewed coffee or tea. For the vegetarian people among you, we will always have something creative in mind.
With the camp we fund a hospitality educational center for women in the neighborhood. In this way we are providing them with an opportunity to earn sufficient money for their family. Some of them have the chance to practice their skills in our camp.
We are hidden a twenty minutes drive from lake Nakuru National Park. It is convenient as a stop over when you are on your way to Lake Turkana, Mount Elgon and Mount Kenya national Parks. Kisumu and the Ugandan border are only a day trip from here.
The price per night is based on Kenyan resident rates. In case you are a Non-Kenyan resident 1600 KES per person per night will be added extra, which you can just pay on location. Kids below 12 years old cost 2100 KES per kid per night. This can also be paid on location.
From here you can either go back to Nairobi or continue your journey to itinerary stop 2 The Camel Safari Experience .
