Jambo! We are an registered NGO providing complete care to orphans and vulnerable children. We opened in 2009, and we are currently the home for approximately 50 children. Most of the children have been orphaned, abandoned or abused and have nowhere else to turn. We recently started the initiative to build a camp so that we can generate extra income to support the children’s future.

Location

This camp is very clean with beautiful decorations and it has a wonderful view of Nakuru. The meals were outstandingly delicious. The stuff was so nice and kind, and they gave me a great experience while staying in the camp. Nakuru is such a peaceful place to be. My experience in this camp couldn't be better! I'm very glad that I chose this place and I would like to come back again.

Easy pickup service from Nakuru town, we followed Daniel and through the outskirts of Nakuru and ended up at this beautiful camp with a great view on Lake Nakuru. Very warm welcome and a great meal in the evening. Sitting by a big fire outside, enjoying the sounds of nature and lights of Nakuru in the distance. The breakfast was outstanding, very nice! Thank you team, we will be back! Kamande, Els, Njee, Anita

Kambi Amani, which means Camp of Peace, most definitely lives up to its name. Our stay at the camp was exceptional and, in fact, we found it incredibly difficult to leave. From the breathtaking views to the beautifully decorated tents to the delicious food and the great company of the welcoming hosts, our experience was enjoyable in every way. When you leave Kambi Amani, you want to take a little bit of it with you, and you cannot help but to leave a little bit of you behind. I very strongly recommend Kambi Amani to anyone wanting to experience the best that Nakuru has to offer.

We had such a great stay at the camp of Molly and her team! It has a beautiful view of Lake Nakuru in the distance. The camp is set-up with a lot of eye for detail with a beautiful sundowner spot. The staff is really friendly and we had a wonderful time. At the time we stayed there the furnished tents were not there yet so we brought our own tent (be aware of the acacia trees!)

We had such a wonderful stay at the camp of Molly and her team near Lake Nakuru. It is a small camp on top of a hill overlooking Lake Nakuru in the distance. Everything is really nicely decorated and the staff is wonderful and so helpful. From the camp it is around 20-30 min drive to the main gate of Lake Nakuru. A lovely, cozy place that also serves a good cause! We can highly recommend and definitely come back.
