- Duration: 1 day
Hi I'm Josh, and together with my wife Dewi, I run an eco-bamboo homestay in Bantul. While not manning our guests, I work as a local guide by the motto "travel to connect with the locals."
If you want to experience what Yogyakarta has to offer to its full potential in one day, then this day trip is for you. From visiting the majestic temples of Borobudur and Prambanan to exploring Muntilan village, a place where my wife used to spent her childhood. We'll take you to see the traditional tiles and sculptor artisans at work, we will visit a coconut nectar workshop, and most importantly taste the richness of local cuisine. It's not a typical day trip, and surely will be a day worth to remember.
In between the trip, we will pass green paddy fields and see local people at work. We can even make a spontaneous stop along the way.
Important note: This itinerary is flexible, so if you have any request during the trip we can chat and I'll try my best to suggest the place that suits your interest.
