Hi, I'm Fredy, a father of two sons and a single fighter leather artisan that make every of my product by hand from start to finish and sells it under my own brand. My journey in leather craft started back in 2014 when I was still working as a photographer and missed working with my own hands. The responses to my craft have been great ever since and I'm thankful for that!
I've always believed that we need to share what we know to other people eager to learn. If you happen to be around Jakarta or planning to visit, I invite you to my studio for a 4-hour leather workshop where you will learn basic to intermediate leather craft skills. You can mak either a compact wallet or a passport holder.
During this session, you'll learn how to identify different type of leather, learn how pattern works, plotting, cutting, grooving, beveling, hand stitching techniques, and some of my favorite leather finishing hacks. I'll guide you personally throughout the process and most importantly we'll have a great time together. My studio is located in neighborhood right across a small playground, usually, you can see local children play in the evening and we can hang out at the balcony.
How to get to my studio:
Train: Board a commuter line to Bojong Indah station (Tangerang line) Bus: take TransJakarta bus to Jembatan Baru station (Kalideres line) station from there you can take ojek (motorbike taxi) to Jl. Sugriwa V in Bojong or you can take taxi to my place
