Breathtaking views, spectacular sunrise & sunsets, love, laughter and lots of stories! Our nature retreat homestay is based on the idea of romancing with nature in a fresh and simple way. The 8 acre estate with fruit orchard, vegetable farm and a small dairy will help you rediscover your love for the simple things in life.

Our estate is just a 2.5 hour drive away from the nearest railway station in Kathgodam.

We would like to share our piece of heaven with you. Come join us in our home for some delicious meals and treasured tales. The members of the family also include our 6 dogs, 4 cats and 6 cows. Participate in our life and just relax in the serene surroundings. Home-cooked food is prepared from the produce of the farm or the nearby areas and served with love. The guest’s food preferences are welcome!

Our guests can stay with us in the family house where we have 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms for our guests. We also have an independent cottage nearby which you can book here.

If you love cooking, you can join our baking, desert making and jam making classes.

Hiking enthusiasts can go for a long hike to Mukteshwar and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the himalayas. On the way you can experience food from a local eatery and visit shops run by local NGOs. We also offer a complimentary walk around the estate.

We also love to take our guests around the village for a rural walk. There you can interact with the villagers, observe their life and enjoy a hearty meal at one of the village homes.

The evenings generally end with everyone gathering around the bonfire, enjoying delicious barbecue and some beautiful conversations with fellow travellers.

You can also visit the nearby apricot oil extracting unit. Other activities include playing badminton or just relaxing with a book from our library.

Meet Lyat & Julia

Ask a question

Hi! We Lyat & Julia live in our beautiful farm estate with Lyat’s mother Kiran and elder brother Dway. Lyat’s father was from a Kumaoni & Burmese descent and I, Julia am a Russian who grew up in Latvia. I fell in love with Kumaon, and made it my second home. All this just adds a lot of flavor to our daily lives. We also have two kids who study in a boarding school in Nainital. We are one big ‘khichdi pot’, as we like to call it. We love our home and the beauty of its surroundings. Come join us for a tranquil experience.
